Spread the gospel
More blessings come from giving
than from receiving.
Argentina
La Matanza - Buenos Aires
Before traveling to Buenos Aires, my city of birth, out of curiosity, I searched the Internet for the history of the Pentecostal church in the country. I found a spiritual connection between Argentina and Canada going back 123 years. Miss Alicia Wood arrived in Argentina in 1910. She began the evangelistic work of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God of Argentina.
During this trip, we took turns sharing the Word, praying for the filling of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or praying for healing and spiritual renewal.
We ministered in these places:
Paradise’s Home for abused girls – In the town of Rafael Castillo
When we arrived at Pastor José’s church in Lomas de Zamora, he was waiting for us in his office. We found that we had some mutual friends from Canada who lived there. The Kerr and Fricker families were missionaries who raised their family in Argentina. We felt at home, and our team had the opportunity to minister in his church. It was beautiful to hear the people worship in Spanish.
Leadership Dinner – El Mangrullo – Ciudad Evita
At the restaurant, our team met the interdenominational pastors of La Matanza. I felt that we had known each other for a lifetime. In preparation for this trip, I spent many days fasting and praying in the Presence of God. On one of these days of fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke with me through the Apostle Paul when he said in Colossians: “…I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ…”
In the restaurant, Pastor Jorge’s wife, president of the pastoral council, approached me and said: “I feel I’ve known you all my life.” Her name is Liliana. But as the Apostle Paul said, we still did not know each other face to face but only by the Holy Spirit. In this group, the pastor represents three hundred interdenominational churches that welcomed our group with love, and opened their doors to work together in their community.
Leadership Meeting – San Justo
In these photos, we met with pastors representing three hundred churches in La Matanza. It was beautiful to minister together as the body of Christ and feel the Presence of God in each one of those attending the meeting. I felt welcomed again, and we celebrated a Christ who loves us.
Bible School (IBRP) Lomas de Zamora
It was an honor to minister in the Bible School. Here again, we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. At the end of our sharing, we felt the Holy Spirit’s Presence. When the students began with praise, there were physical healings and baptisms of the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in new spiritual tongues and with spiritual renewal.
Denise and I are grateful to the Lord, to the Argentine team, and to the local pastors for allowing us to share the love of Christ in different places in La Matanza.

Argentina, La Patagonia – Neuquén, Rio Negro and Chubut.
Why am I in contact with the church Dimension de Dios in Argentina?
Since I moved to Canada, I have continued to connect with my home church in Argentina, Dimension de Dios, under the leadership of Pastor Eliseo Ferreyra. This church was planted by Rev. Hector and Mary Ferreyra with the assistance of Ev. Steve and Jeri Hill, known for their leadership in the Pensacola Revival. Hector and Mary have five children and all of them are pastors in different cities of the country.
One of their sons, Pastor Nico, is my main co-worker in Latin America. Together with the support of Canadian and American teams, we have planted six churches in La Patagonia and Buenos Aires. Together with you, we are part of the harvest in Argentina.
